The exchange of knowledge and care goes both ways when assisting the American Indian Ministry with the Archdiocese.

"When Catholics are hospitalized, many strongly desire the presence of a priest chaplain and request a visit, and when a priest is assigned to a hospital, it is possible to respond to these requests in a timely manner," said Fr. Michael A. Van Sloun, Director of Clergy Personnel for the Archdiocese.

This year’s goal is raising “at least $8.6 million,” if not more, Rosales said, which is about the same as last year. “We get gifts big and small, and every one of them helps,” he said. “The better we do, the better we’re able to assist...”

Ahead of February’s annual appeal for Catholic ministries in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis, members of the St. Paul-based Catholic Services Appeal Foundation spent time prayerfully discerning how CSAF’s legacy might inform its next steps.
